Our local beach side based chip shop has been doing a call ahead take away against a slot time service. They shut today to prevent an influx of non locals. Yesterday the queue was apparently epic.
For sure it was busier at the sea front but I can't quite work out whether it fair to do this.
As usual as a local if you know where to go there are no crowds & lots of space
