How does one get into this google group??
If you want to join the new Google Groups group/list, you will have to go to
http://groups.google.com/group/mog-group and sign up either using your existing email address, or by creating a completely new google account for yourself. Once you have joined the list, you can either read and post using the web interface (in that case, I suggest using the "View this group in the new Google Groups" option), or via email.
To send messages to the list by email, just email to mog-group@googlegroups.com once you are subscribed.
If you get a message saying your password is incorrect when trying to create a Google account, you probably already have an old Google account. There is a refresh password button in case you have forgotten the old password.
This is not a direct continuation or replacement for eMog - it is just another forum/list that hemps fill in the gap left by eMog being closed down. Unlike eMog, mog-group has no content moderation, and while everyone is free to say whatever they want, I am hoping we all behave like responsible adults.
I also want to make clear that this is purely my own private initiative, with no official support from either Lorne or any of the other Morgan-related online groups.
