First, my thanks to all who responded to my previous posting regarding cooling a 1500cc Cortina motor with an electric fan in front of the radiator, and no engine driven fan. I learned all about boundary air, ducting, air dams and floor mats!
My solution was to install a new air duct/cowl box from the factory with the addition of shrouding to direct all air flow entering the grill straight into the radiator. Last night at 70-75mph (120kph)the temperature actually fell to 140Fahrenheit!
