The petrol filler pipe can be easily missed during a service as it needs the spare removing to check it properly (at least on my 4/4 2 seater). My recent purchase (like you took delivery just before lockdown so not driven apart from the trip back from Bristol!) was serviced before I took delivery but I found the fuel filler to be well perished. The dealer is replacing it but is closed at the moment so I hope it doesn't get forgotten about!
