Okay, this may seem strange as currently there is not a cloud in the sky and it's 30 degrees out there - but I need to fit the hood onto my Morgan this evening.
I have only done this twice before, the last time was several years ago and I recall it was a hell of a struggle. I'm hoping today that the warm weather will be to my advantage, making the hood more pliable. Does anyone have any tips? In particular, I remember when I bought the car Richard Thorne told me which poppers to do first and which to leave until last - but it's been so long now I've forgotten.
Any advice gratefully received, I'd like to keep a few of my fingernails intact this time if possible.

Back first ( slack off swivel pivots if you have them)
Try and work from centre of car out to each side ( avoids any twisting/ unequal pulling
Do windscreen studs last. Again work out from middle so that you minimise any possible twisting which will stress screen
It's easier to work with the doors open than with them closed
