/Adrian, there are stabilisers you can add to the fuel like sta bil. Not sure if that would help. I have used it on my garden tools after $5 eat the fuel lines on my hedge trimmer & the fuel tank on my mower. http://sta-bil.co.uk/shop/Oh & welcome. I use Castrol Valvemaster Plus on old engines. Works very well.
