And I thought my '74 4/4 had a lot of grease nipples!
My new toy was delivered yesterday; a secondhand 2.3t mini-digger as I have quite a few landscaping jobs to do. Labour costs in France are prohibitively high and hiring a digger works out quite expensive as well what with transport costs, so when a friend in the business said to buy a good one, then resell in a few years for not much loss that seemed like a good excuse to get a new big toy.
Anyway this machine, a Yanmar Vio 20-4 for those really interested, was delivered last night by the previous professional owner. He advised me to grease all jib and blade points more every time I fill the tank, so around every 15-20hrs. There are a lot of grease points to do, 19 in all!
