Jeez, what have we started here...(-: When I started digging around my place, a pick and shovel were the tools in use, and if I have dug one ton I have dug well over a 100tons with those tools over the years I have owned this place, though I finally gave up with the pick and shovel and hired a couple of JCB 803 plus diggers, one with a pecker to break the rock and the other to dig it out, which was a whole lot better than the Kango hammer pick and shovel I used for the garage foundations...Garage to the left of pic. My old 1 ton pick up truck was worth it`s weight in gold too..(-: No more digging for me, and I wonder why my joints are stiff and sore... (-:
