As the speedo calibration is changed/corrected by larger rolling radius of tyres then odometer will be as well. If it was accurate before this may mean it under reads distance slightly.

I would think it would affect the odometer as well because the inputs come from the same place, either the wheel hub sensor or gearbox, depending on model.


Thanks, guys. I will compare the odometer with a piece of road where the Kilometers are marked. So if a normal everyday car reads the kilometers or miles of the speedo with advance, does it mean that in this case the odometer is more correct? It should be possible with a digital gauge to separate the programming of odo and speedo.
