Richard Thompson did MGB-GT but it wasn't one of his better efforts.
Indeed .... one of my favourite guitarists .... not on a par with his greatest songs .... but it is about a specific car
For me, if it's got a solid named car reference then up it goes ..... matters of taste will be left to the assembled multitudes!
