Mr Staniforth knew a thing or two about designing race cars .... still see his terrapins and their derivative, the megapin, on the hill racing circuit ....was excited to find I'd be in the next paddock slot to him at a Harewood meeting ...sadly he had to pull out from ill health .... never got the chance again ...he was a great and influential designer.
