I had four Midgets. The best looking by far was M reg round wheelarch in blaze. But an intermittent total power fail defeated me so I got rid in six months.
The most reliable was a Basilica blue F plater which I thrashed mercilessly and did a huge mileage in. It was pushing 100,000 when I sold it. The gearbox sounded like marbles in a can, and it was filled with Moly but it never once broke down.
The white J plater was the only car I had with wires before my Morgan. Silver Hammerite? I should have known better.
The Citron 1500 is best forgotten.
