I'm in the process of changing car insurance for Tarka from Classic car through Classic Line to normal 3 car policy through NFU.
The logic is tat with normal insurance they base their offer, should the car be written off, on the cars available for sale at Morgan dealers: over the last 12 months 2014 Pluss 8s have been boffered at significantly more than the "agreed value" with Classic line, there is no mileage restriction and as part of a 3 car policy it is covered for business use. Although I have no NCD for the car NFU have offered an "introductory NCD" which makes the quote less than Classic Line.
NFU will offer a conventional classic car policy, but there is a 3000 miles a year restriction.
Sounds like a great deal given that "trading" price is offen no where near "offered" or advertised price.
