Thanks guys, I'm glad I'm not nuts since I THOUGHT they should have been an easy and problem free install.
Stock exhaust, no warning lights on dash of any kind.
I'll take it off and look things over, I've double checked all of the visible connectors but genuinely I could swear all I did was, essentially, remove a few bolts and then put on new bolts... I think there could be some validity that I over-torqued something that pulled the throttle body in a way that it's not a fan of.
For someone whose title has the word "engineer" in it, it is shocking how often I screw up simple jobs...
