I prefer the tonneau as an option. I have a Librands roll bar so it is modified to fit round the tubing. I use the headrests but keep the metal rod lubricated with ordinary car polish. It makes them easier to remove. Light rain...drive on. If going out and there is heavier rain forecastI fit the hood on the rear and fold it to cover the shelf area before going, like a mini cover. It is then easy to fit to the screen quickly as it is like an easy up hood. I toyed with having “pouches” put in the tonneau cover to fit over the headrests but the rollbar would make that difficult. I also took off the wind deflectors.
I carry the short rain cover to put over the cockpit as a quick extra covering.
