The Yorkshire carwash reminds me of the time I drove my MTW over a county road that was flooded by the Mississippi River rather than backtrack 15 miles, looking back, I don't know that I would do that again. Ribblehead remains in use Inge. The Settle to Carlisle route was threatened with closure up to the 80s. Then there was a change of heart. The viaduct was restored but reduced to single track. The route remains in constant use, and is a favourite for steam specials.

I haven't driven Oliver's Mount for years, but as a motorbike track, it's incredibly narrow for cars with tight hairpins either side of the start/finish straight.
