Lift the parcel shelf (and tool tray if you have one?) and connect to battery terminals from above - easier than removing the plate behind the seat (don't think I have that on my '93).
First choice I agree. This is easy enough if not loaded. I thought you could also jump start by putting jump red lead onto starter motor heavy red lead and black to good earth eg Block. Is this not the case?
