I have just finished reading Steppenwolf by Herman Hesse.
That was a strange tale; apparently the bible of the Sixties counterculture, but not one I would care to join. A modern day hellfire club?
I am now one chapter into The Great Gatsby. This does not look like the life for me either.
The dissipation and disappointment of money. privilege and having everything but feeling nothing?
I don't know the story, so I am only guessing at this point.
