Perhaps overkill for you dependent upon your all round requirements, I currently use this jack.

As is I can run the jack under the bumpers to the front or rear crossmember, long enough to reach under the axle if that is a desire. I carry a scissor jack in it`s Morgan liveried pouch in the car. With no spare wheel, seems a gold card may be your best friend..!
