So how would these fit into a sealed unit? TBM , you have obviously done the conversion!
Hi - not done an LED conversion (although have used the company for rear and sidelights) but have converted to H4 front lights from sealed beam. Very easy swap over. I went for the Wipac Crystal 7" - I like the look of them, and used them on both my Land Rovers, so am happy with the light spread.
I also went for sidelights in the lens and spliced them into the wing mounted sidelights - bit of a belt and braces approach. Had to trim a 'U' shape out of the backing plate to fit the sidelight bulb holder. If you do the conversion, you will need to use relays for main/dip - I fried my dim/dip stalk switch with a week of upgrading!

Once you've done the conversion, it would be easy to upgrade to the LED's if required, especially the ones without the control box.
