Just before lockdown I had the 9 year old tyres on my P4SS replaced. I chose Toyo Proxes CF2s in thesame size as the originals and as recommended by Kevfitz of this parish. I was expecting them to improve the wet/cold grip but the most pronounced improvement was to ride comfort. I had heard about that before but never having had 9-year old tyres on a car I was surprised how much better they were.
So, if you want comfort, go out and buy some tyres (other remedies/checks to be done as appropriate of course).
And seems like a good excuse for a couple of pictures on the way back from the tyre deport before the latest restrictions.
