There are a couple posts on the forum about the HiSpec billet 4 pod brakes. I installed them today on my 1984 Morgan 4/4. However, I ran into issues getting the rear brake pads in. The pads are 98mm wide and 60mm high (15,4mm thick) - Unfortunately, the rear pads touch the stub-axle which means I cannot slide in the pin that secures the pads in the caliper. Two pictures below - some more details on my blog FixingC6622
The pads I have are Ferodo FDB813

Has anybody ran across this issues before?
I can think for two possible solutions:
a) getting brake pads that are just 58mm high (I tried a search engine - without success)
b) filing away a bit of material from the stub-axle (maybe not the best idea as this is the area where the bolts that secure the calipers to the stub axle are located)

Thanks and Regards
Tim
