I had a wren's nest above the kitchen window this summer - and was there when the youngsters left. Tiny things... I hope they return next year, I've no idea of their mysterious habits.
I live in the middle of an active shooting estate - so regularly have large numbers of partridge and pheasant in the garden. No crows - or very few. Smart birds!
Bats and owls in abundance too - along with two annoying peacocks.
