Thanks again, So i have now found a 5 speed sierra box and was lucky enough to find an older bell housing that will take a clutch slave cylinder, i didn't want a cable .So more questions ! Engine mountings are the Ford mountings used or are Morgan different ?
I think i have read on another post that the ford Crossflow 4 branch manifold does not fit .How much power would be lost by fitting a standard manifold ..The carb that came with the engine is a twin downdraft webber. good enough ? . I think the points will have to go and be replaced with a simple electronic ignition. Before i strip the engine i may trial fit into the Chassis along with the gearbox , i don't want too many surprises after the Chassis has been painted.
