There were a handful with this around 2015/16 where the crankshaft pulley bolt unwound and broke through the cam cover.

S&S came out with a modified mounting bolt which cured the problem.


I had that happen as well ....... The pulley on the crankshaft unwound forwards and drilled through the timing case cover. I have the smashed cover somewhere as a trophy, but again it failed gracefully , just a chug chug down to dead engine with no internal damage. In spite of these failings you have to give this engine some credit.
