Graham, to me a variety of Classics seem way overpriced at the moment given the seemingly exponential increase advertised prices since circa 2009, more so when compared with the average income figures and the debt to GDP ratio of UK PLC.... NOT that I am any finance expert FAR from it..BUT those who claim to be seem to be predicting a crash far worse than that of 2008, or worse still the great depression of the 30`s...!!! Not to mention the Brexit effect too...
When I was looking to buy a Morgan circa 1997 I was in search of one in need of repair or restoration and even at that time they ever seemed over valued. I think that so many fifty somethings in the UK had taken the golden handshake and pension enhancements that seemed so common at the time, and were in search of a "simple" car to restore, to take up all the spare time they were about to have. In the end I gave up and thanks to the GoMoG webmaster I ended up buying Kevin`s restored car.
Arwyn, given the reports of significant improvements after fitting brake reaction bars I take it that there can be a degree of flex in cross-head assemblies that may have to be taken into account...?
