When I bought my 97 +8 i had a HPI done and it had a red flag on the mileage , what was happening was the decimal point was missing so instead of reading 28300.0 it read 2830 and thats what was recorded on the mot when it got corrected the mileage jumped 10k or so it seemed . The previous owner had kept a record of every trip and mileage covered while the problem existed so I did wonder whether I could get the record amended I did contact the dvla and they seemed to think it could . Anybody had any experience with this ?
