TBF that's not a good sign. 20 million is a great deal of money, but not astronomic, I've written business cases for projects bigger than that. I do hope that the case for TVR has been fully researched & costed, and extends to more than "We reckon if we can build some cars, we should be able to sell them and hopefully still make a profit".
Personally I seriously doubt that the market for big V8s is anywhere near large enough to support a manufacturer like TVR, but I'd love to see the research if it demonstrates otherwise.
