Burgundymog.
Its lockdown here too and has supposed to have been since mid December. I guess absolute compliance is less than 20% and we would be one of that 20%.
We walk miles each day as we are lucky to live in/adjacent to open countryside. The roads are not significantly less busy than pre lockdown. Kids still gather, this morning to play in the snow but also to play football and go to the local play area with their smoky mums who gather for a chat. We haven't met with anyone since god knows when, my Mog hasn't turned a wheel since its MOT in October and I can't remember the last time I put fuel in anything.
It would be fair to say I'm going slowly round the bend; tedium, boredom, aimless sitting and surfing the internet are not my thing. I've decorated the whole house, some bits twice, fitted two new kitchen spaces and made too many silly plastic models!
Now this isn't a moan, others a far worse off than us. But I'm fortunate to be in a position to be able to do something legally to restore some of my sanity.
I won't travel to view a car, I won't meet the seller in any way, I won't hand over any cash. I may use a delivery service to act on my behalf who is performing the same service as Amazon, Tesco or M&S home shopping. If BoJo stops that and the science says we shouldn't be having stuff delivered then I will curtail that too.
Hope you are and remain well, lets hope the vaccine helps us all get out of this mess as soon as possible.
