I take it you will have to reuse your old lenses, a good polish and they will look new regardless.

Yes I’ll have to reuse lenses. I noticed the deeper lenses also house a reflective tin think to reflect the light bulb which is a bit flakey. No chance of getting those.

A massive coincidence is that I’ve been trying to obtain stainless screws today which I am told are 4BA X 1 1/4. My agent only has countersunk so I’ll need to do some homework.


Are they so flaky they cannot be re-plated or re-tinned? Or possibly some chrome paint if they can be smoothed down.
My old ones disintegrated so no chance of that laugh2

Just a thought however.. do any other lucas lenses come with them? Might be interchangeable..
