It's a French thing eating equines I think...so if you are Jersey French you should be ok
I've tasted horse meat and i have to admit it tstes good. Not difficult to find in many French butcheries.
What other meats have I tried (I mean strange stuff)?
- Snake - No need to repeat
- Crocodile - No need to repeat
- Turtle - No way again
- Monkey - WTH???
- Antilope - Yummy
- Kudu - Yummy
- Wildebeest - Yummy
- Whale - OK but no need to repeat
I’m not including things that are usual for us (at least in Spain) such as ostrich or all imaginable kinds of offal.
The worst - I did not enjoyed it - were giant caterpillars in Zimbabwe
This said, those who are “sensible” about oily fish such as canned sardines...
