I've never found those high frequency deterrent devices to work in real life ...... they don't like the smell of peppermint oil so that might be worth a try .... I'd also just leave loads of traps about in the vulnerable places baited with peanut butter .... they love it and being sticky it's harder for them to steal the bait without setting off the trap.
