My only concern as a dedicated UK holidaymaker is that the crowds of people who normally go abroad will now make it more difficult to get accommodation, and make places so much busier and less enjoyable. We were already tending to stay at home between June and September anyway, as part of our crowd avoidance strategy. Places like Devon are much better in December. The roads are also semi deserted, and we have the right gear for bad weather. But that doesn't work for Scotland too well.
I'll be happier when the great unwashed piss off back abroad to be honest.
You would think the lockdown is over, judging by the number of people on East Devon’s beaches today.
Luckily there are a number of webcams, so we can check them out, prior to walking down.
We’re still hoping to pop over to Roscoff, maybe in October, subject to the Covid19 situation and Brittany Ferries from Plymouth.
Has anyone enquired about travel insurance, post Brexit and with the pandemic?
