Yes it is sad, but I'm still surprised they sold spectator tickets & actively promoted it
It clearly states in the Step 3 guidance...
NO EARLIER than May 17th, outdoor sports venues max 4000 people or half capacity (whichever is lower)
I just couldn't see how on the 1st & 2nd of May it could happen
