Kin, like the Aero, I don't believe the Viper is shown in the Trade guides (I could be wrong on this point). If I'm correct, then the market really sets the price (you'll notice there are a fair few Vipers that have remained unsold for awhile - including a few nearly new ones; thus, buyers aren't biting at the asking price). I'm sure Lee will be able to confirm if I'm right on this point about the trade guides.
Lee, I like them but for me it is a very price sensitive car. As per our conversation a few months back, 2-seater cars really are impratical for me and thus I have to feel comfortable with the money sitting on my drive being seldom used. At £40k+, I just think I'd see the Viper as an expensive 'toy' that sees use too little to justify.
Still a black with silver stripes for £20,000 would be found a home
