I have a 3.9 and high pressure oil pump. Runs at 5 bar on start up when cold and 3.5 bar when warm/hot.
What is the high pressure oil pump?
I thought this upgrade was introduced with the serpentine belt equipped engines (circa 1993?) but Stephen's 1980 car has it (but is this the original engine) It replaced the low pressure/high volume pump of the older models. There were differences in some US export models so I can't be certain that your 1994 car will be high pressure but I am pretty sure it should be.
What pressure does it run at once hot?
