With regard to reflashing the ecu, i have got a box file with the cooling fan code. I used this when fitting the fan to my car. It is a 30 sec job to upload to the ecu using ProTune software
Box file can be sent by email.
What file is currently in your ecu can be seen by using Protune and looking at 'comments'
