And in 5 years time when it all goes pear shaped due to failure or corrosion the fun will start. I would really prefer a KISS car. Even my Mog is over complex.

So you will get complexity with the KISS car...
Simple ones will turn up once the electrical TIER 1 systems will be ready.
Could be a new start for Kit Cars and small series production.
