I fold mine front to back(or viseversa) so the outside meets outside, then side to middle both sides twice over the roof, then gather, fold and compress at the rear to end up with about an 18" square compact cover. This then goes in a bag, and into the boot of the tintop. Once you memorise the sequence, uncovering and covering is only a couple of minutes- a bit more of a faff if there's rain or ice to deal with!
