Many thanks for the heads up on Will`s likely capabilities, though given his age my thinking seems relative to some degree..?
I meant no criticism whatsoever of Will`s collection or the processes involved, I more hoped to open up discussion a tad to the degree that others might care to chat of their thoughts on collection processes, either theirs or the collections of others.
I have to shamefully admit to scrapping a few relics myself and passing on a couple, some of which were used as spare parts sources for other projects by pals, I guess some of us may be inclined to tidy up their lives a bit when they reach a certain age..?
I gave a load of old 50`s on instruments and a ST Morgan engine out of a twin spare Mog, a couple of good condition ALL-FIN drums from a 55 TR2, as well as some other parts to a pall who passes time on eBay for fun... apparently there was little to no interest... Shrug. I guess as us baby boomers have created a market with our spending ability for the cars we perhaps valued greatly when younger, and as we loose our grip on the perch that market and interest in it, may diminish to some degree..?
On the other hand there are those who have an alternative set of ideals such as Ivan.... All power to his elbow... (-:
