Having spent the last BH weekend successfully switching radiators, the weak spot has obviously moved and now I have a small weep at the water pump- hence the antifreeze smell- thankfully not the heater matrix leaking which was my initial thought. I recall John Worrall advising that all late Morgan LR engines were supplied as Land rover factory stock, (as opposed to Morgan factory modified) so I presume (hope) the replacement pump will be readily available. Is there any particular method required to remove/replace the defective pump- engine lifting for example, to clear the top bar of the cross head? Or will it all pop out in a well mannered straightforward fashion? Any previous experiences/ wwow gratefully received. Here's to another ( not now- it's too sunny!) weekend of knuckle scuffing
