Adding insulated flooring is well down the priority list although I will transfer the large piece of carpeting Morton sits on in present garage.

Long term plan is to cut out three of the roof A frame chords after first bracing with 6 x 2" timbers bolted up in scissor style. This to give clearance for car on hydraulic lift.

Maybe you sdhould think about fitting a urinal and sink whilst the garage is under construction. There is nothing like getting ready to do some work on the car to start you needing a pee. Or is it my age?

My garage has plastic floor tyles stuck down to the concrete - the 12 inch square old style vinyl ones.Unfortaunately some have come loose and broken up so I have to decide what to do about them. I would like a solid surface rather than a plastic mesh. Which of the above will fit that bill - the ones from the US of A look good to me.
