It is worse than that really. For example Malaysian Borneo rain forests are being largely destroyed to create oil palm estates. Displacing and destroying the lives of the Aboriginal peoples. Borneo loggingI remember being in KL Malaysia hardly able to breathe as Suharto's lot had set fire to Java to clear the forests. When you see the bio diversity destroyed in the name of palm oil is horrific
