I appreciate it’s in our interest to question insurance company renewal quotes, and the majority of times they will reduce the price. Why don’t they quote that lower amount in the first instance? I have used Hagerty for a few years now for my cars and motorbikes and found them very competitive and easy to deal with, but when I have asked them if that is their best price I have always had the reply that is the price which they assured is their best shot.
