Fair point, we'll carry on here then.

I've always used Valvemaster lead replacement additive in my Kent engine, which used to be branded Castrol but is now known as Classic. There is a "Plus" version which until a few years ago gave an octane boost of 2 RON but now it claims ethanol protection instead.

I've no idea how much good it does but it's never done any harm.
