Good idea, Morgans stopped being sports cars some time ago. Who wants to risk pranging a Morgan at their current price levels?
Morgan must have choked off a good proportion of their traditional customer base with such high pricing. Does anyone know if the new cars are selling well or not.
I think they are selling well, especially the Plus Four - the point about these new CX models is that they need to be aimed at a new clientele as us old codgers and home mechanics are vanishing very rapidly.
I'm sure they will hang onto a few of the diehards for which they will be grateful, but they have to look ahead as I believe they are are doing.
I got within an ace of getting a new Plus Four but then realised it was not what I loved about Morgan's and relaxed back into the Plus 8.
It's not to say I won't get one in the future when the knees finally give out and automatic becomes the only option, but for the time being the V8 burble stays
