So the clutch disc is significantly smaller than the Miata's, though presumably the flywheel/ring gear O.D. is the same.
Did your clutch fail on its own (which would be concerning), or was it helped along by a failing compensator?
Might you be able weigh your clutch parts? That would let me get a better estimate of the inertia,.
