It is a trade seller but one who is apparently unaware of the rules for transferring registrations. As Peter pointed out earlier, it will need to have an MOT before the plate can be separated from the car.


My son knows people who would issue the car with a MOT, it would be valid long enough to remove the number plate and then the car would be reported as a write off due to a fire.
