I've just replaced the tyres on my 61 Morgan Plus 4. Same as before Vredestein Classics 165 R15. After they had put them on the wire wheels and balanced them I asked what pressure they had put in them, which was 30 psi. I said i would be reducing this to 20-22 psi and they strongly recommended against this insisting the tyres wouldn't be covered by warranty or whatever for anything lower than 28 psi, all sorts of mutterings about the sidewalls. The previous Vredesteins were on there for 15 years with no problems - any comments?
