I missed the start and watched the last 20 laps.
No real surprise to se the “contenders” take each other out but awesome to see the McClarens take 1-2.
Max seems to be reverting to his early days when he was too gung-ho. Things are moving towards the Senna v Prost antics with Max taking the Senna attitude of “ I am not giving an inch so back off or we collide”. His ignoring Hamilton and apparent lack of concern reinforce this reversion.
It is good to see hard racing instead of processions but the fear factor of crashing seems to be creating an over aggressive mentality. The Halo is certainly proving a bonus.
A commentator was also postulating whether Max could keep taking Hamilton out to maintain his points advantage. Really? But then.....Shumacker v Hill rings a bell.
